LAS VEGAS – jill-e designs today announced that it has extended its portfolio of high-fashion, highly functional camera bags and accessories for the serious female photographer to include a new line of creative and stylish “pouch” bags for full-sized “point-n-shoot” cameras. These new pouches currently come in four styles – including two suitable for the surf and sand.
Along with jill-e design’s broad array of camera bags in a variety of sizes, designs, colors and combinations, the company is exhibiting its newest products this week at the WPPI trade show in Las Vegas in Booth V057, located in Bally’s Hotel & Casino. Featured products include handy wristlets for batteries and memory cards, smaller pocket-sized cameras or personal items%3B specially priced bundled matched bag “combos” comprised of large rolling bags and medium shoulder bags%3B and new medium and large bags in striking red leather.
“The serious female photographer with a full set of professional photographic equipment will have no problem selecting a sturdy, stylish camera bag from jill-e designs that will meet her needs,” said jill-e designs Owner/Partner Jill Wight. “But our new pouches are specifically designed for that extra digital camera – the bulkier ‘point-n-shoot’ that a lot of women like to carry in certain situations or to make sure they don’t miss a shot.”
Wight added that the new pouches were designed and developed with jill-e designs’ signature attention to both fashion and functionality. The company’s new products will be available this spring or summer on the jill-e designs web site, as well as from the company’s growing global network of retail photo stores and dealers.
jill-e designs employs designs, colors and materials that take essential photographic accessories far beyond the traditional male-oriented offerings, the company said. For example, professional camera bags typically have a large number of compartments and a large amount of padding to protect cameras and lenses, but they’re composed of nylon or canvas – plus they’re utilitarian in appearance and usually black.
Camera bags from jill-e designs, on the other hand, incorporate the padding, protection and other attributes found in the best professional bags – but they’re created from such materials as leather and suede, designed with the flare of stylish purses and carry bags, and available in a variety of fashionable colors. In addition, they incorporate features important to women, such as additional pockets and detachable personal bags.
